چکیده

Antibiotic resistance genes (ARG) have been considered as a global emerging threat to public health systems. As special locations where both antibiotics and ARGs are directly used, biology laboratories poorly studied but potential important emission sources not only the environmental stress is strong also obtaining much easier comparing other well hot spots including farms, hospitals, wastewater treatment plants landfills used or discharged. Therefore, in this study, 11 Swiss working on different fields located city center, suburb rural area were reveal abundance diversity of airborne them their surrounding areas with Colony-forming units (CFU) cultivation quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR). Most did discharge significant amounts varieties cultivable bacteria via air. No correlation was found between number CFUs 16S rRNA, two clusters correlated ARGs, animal husbandry related cluster, hospital cluster identified study. Although most may be wide variety which abundant aadA1 eukaryocytes need furtherly make sure if they risks for researchers.

Abundance and diversity of resistance genes in the sugarcane transcriptome revealed by in silico analysis.

Resistance genes (R-genes) are responsible for the first interaction of the plant with pathogens being responsible for the activation (or not) of the defense response. Despite their importance and abundance, no tools for their automatic annotation are available yet. The present study analyzed R-genes in the sugarcane expressed sequence tags database which includes 26 libraries of different tiss...

Cancer/Testis genes in relation to sperm biology and function

Cancer testis antigens (CTAs), a large family of tumor-associated and immunogenic antigens expressed in human tumors of various histological origins, are highly restricted to the testis and trophoblast. CTAs have been identified as potent targets for tumor-specific immunotherapeutic advances and have immensely lead to the development of different clinical trials of CTA-based vaccine therapy bec...

Does human activity impact the natural antibiotic resistance background? Abundance of antibiotic resistance genes in 21 Swiss lakes.

Antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) are emerging environmental contaminants, known to be continuously discharged into the aquatic environment via human and animal waste. Freshwater aquatic environments represent potential reservoirs for ARG and potentially allow sewage-derived ARG to persist and spread in the environment. This may create increased opportunities for an eventual contact with, and ...

Abundance and Dynamics of Antibiotic Resistance Genes and Integrons in Lake Sediment Microcosms

Antibiotic resistance in bacteria causing disease is an ever growing threat to the world. Recently, environmental bacteria have become established as important both as sources of antibiotic resistance genes and in disseminating resistance genes. Low levels of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals are regularly released into water environments via wastewater, and the concern is that such environ...

Diversity and Abundance of Insects in Wukari, Taraba State, Nigeria

A field survey was conducted in Wukari, Taraba State to assess the diversity and abundance of insect species in selected habitats (residential, open field made up of grassland and an agroecosystem). Sampling were done biweekly using light, pitfall and yellow pan traps set in 3 replicates, 30 m apart. Insects recovered were wet preserved in 70% ethanol except butterflies and moths. Representativ...
